A free mod for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, by Mystermask625 and Burello.
Using this mod, you may now design unique shields and apply them to various units. It takes a lot of work, but the rewards are immense.
The mod essentially does nothing by itself other than keep a PolybianConfig.xml file in ModuleData. Currently, the game's only two vanilla units are present: the Imperial Horseman and the Imperial Infantryman.
Two presets that we generated specifically for each mod are as follows: One each for the Late Roman Army and the Polybian Army (IV-V centuries)
To install:
Manually download the file, unpack it, and then place it in the Mount & Blade II BannerlordModules directory inside Steamsteamappscommon.
Enable the mod in the launcher.
Download one of the presets, then replace the PolybianConfig in the Mount & Blade II Bannerlord Modules/BearMyShield/ModuleData folder inside Steamsteamappscommon.
